Hey everyone,
This Thursday 11/19, we'll be teaming up with Nike once again, so we have
to meet at the RPAC. Everything else will be exactly the same (4:30 for a
40 minute run). They will, though, be treating us to free pizza and beverages
at the Varsity Club after the run, so I encourage as many people as possible to
come!!
Also...
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is calling all students looking to enhance their
health and wellness through physical activity. If running at the RPAC is already
a part of your weekly routine, or you are searching for the extra push you need
to make it to the gym, we may have the right program for you. Team in Training
(TNT) is the world's largest endurance sports training program. The program
provides training to run or walk a full marathon or half marathon or participate
in a century ( 100 mile) bike ride or triathlon. Participants raise funds for
Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma research and patient services in exchange for
training, support and lodging and airfare to the event of their choice. Since
TNT's inception, 380,000 participants have raised $900 million. The best part of
it all is that while you are helping yourself, you are helping others.
We are having a fund-raising event on Sunday, November 22nd at the Applebee's
located on Ackerman Road from 11AM-11PM. The attached flyer must be presented
and 10% of your order (dine in, carry-out, or alcohol purchased) will go
directly to our cause! Please feel free to contact Andrea Zelinski, Campaign
Director, at andrea.zelinski@lls.org or 614.476.7194 Ext 232 for more
information and we hope to see you all at the event!!
Thanks!
Happy Runnings (and jumping!),

Hey there!
Congratulations to everyone who ran the marathon or the
half...you guys rock!!
We are now accepting T-SHIRT
ORDERS. The t-shirts this year have been designed
by one of our very own (thank you Rachel Dwyer!) and they will be red and
short-sleeved. The best part is, they're only $5. That's right, just five bucks. Please email
osu.running.club@gmail.com with your name and size and
we'll add you to our list.
DUES, $20! Please get your
dues in. These dues are what help us do awesome things for you all (think free
dinners at Eddie George's, cheap t-shirts, ice cream runs, pizza parties, indoor
runs during the winter, etc.) So far only 31 people
have given us money and I know there are more than that who come to the runs. Please please please remember to bring your money in. If
you cannot make it to any of the runs this quarter but still want to pay your
dues (to come to the socials and runs next quarter), please just reply to this
email and we'll set up a time.
And lastly, enjoy this beautiful, positively perfect
running weather that is about to grace us with its presence.
Happy runnings!

Get Paid to Run!
We are an event marketing agency looking for a runner to
help us with an upcoming promotion. The runner must be someone who enjoys
running while having fun too. We are looking for someone to represent a major
beverage client of ours by running the 5K race at the Columbus Marathon on
October 18 and running behind the brand’s mascot. The runner will need to finish
19:00 – 24:00 and be able to talk for the mascot during the race event. We will
give a t-shirt and we will pay for the race registration and free product. The
runner will be paid $25 to participate in the run as well as $10/hour for the
duration of the run and any post event promotion (posing for photos with other
runners and spectators). He or she will also receive a $100 bonus from The
Eleven Agency if s/he finishes with a medal in his/her category. The runner can
also be paid for his or her participation at the Columbus Marathon Expo on
October 16 & 17.
If anyone in your club is interested or has any questions,
please contact Cheryl Villaruz at

Volunteer at the Columbus Marathon
My name is Teryn Wessel, and I am the co-captain for the
