Summer Runs! (6/28/09 -7/3/09)
Hello Everybody!  I hope summer is going well for all of you.

Due to some interest from both the members and officers on campus this summer, we have decided to hold some summer runs for everybody who is in Columbus.

We will be having runs at the following times:

Mondays at 7:30pm
Wednesdays at 7:30pm
Saturdays at 9:00am

We will meet at our usual location on the oval by the statue in front of the library.

As always, if it is raining 30 minutes before a run, it will be canceled, and because it is summer and people tend to travel more during the summer, there is a chance officers will not be able to make the runs.  If that happens, we will do our best to communicate it to all of you as soon as we know that the officers cannot make it to a run.  You are welcome to meet unofficially if that happens.

The runs will start tomorrow.

Let me(Tony) know if you have any questions, and we hope to see some of you tomorrow!

The object is to run to a series of points shown on the map, choosing routes that will help you find all the points and get back to the finish in the shortest amount of time. The points on the course are marked with orange and white flags and punches, so you can prove you've been there.  Orienteering is a fun sport for everyone, regardless of age or experience.

The cost is only $5 and the individual who completes the course the fastest will win a prize!
